Office towers & tenant suites
Suites on the east and west sides of a tower often run hotter and brighter than the rest of the floor. Most towers have a building-standard film or a reflectivity limit, so we start with property management.

Solar, privacy and security film for the towers, suites and storefronts around Post Oak and The Galleria, from a shop that’s already in the neighborhood.
Quick answer
Texas Tinted is based in Uptown, at 2401 Fountain View Dr, Floor 1, Houston, TX 77057, a short drive west of The Galleria. We install commercial window film on Uptown and Galleria-area office towers and suites, retail along Westheimer and Post Oak, medical and professional offices, and high-rise residential buildings: solar control and low-reflective film, privacy and decorative film, and security and anti-graffiti film. Commercial consultations are free.
Uptown is built out of glass: towers along Post Oak Boulevard and San Felipe, mid-rise offices off Westheimer, and storefronts all around The Galleria. In buildings like these, the sun problem lands on whoever sits along the east or west curtain wall, while the rest of the floor is comfortable.
This is our home base. Site assessments, samples on your glass and follow-up visits are short trips for us, which makes small jobs, like a single suite or one glass-front conference room, just as easy to schedule as a full floor.

Street-level shops along Westheimer and Post Oak deal with UV fading of displays, afternoon glare and after-hours security. Installs are scheduled before opening or after close.
Privacy film for exam and consultation rooms, glare control at reception, and frosted glass fronts for law, financial and other professional suites.
Uptown’s residential towers usually require association approval for film. We provide samples and data sheets, and install from inside each unit.
In a multi-tenant tower, the landlord controls how the glass looks from outside. Many buildings name a standard film or a maximum reflectivity, and most set rules for contractor access, elevators, loading docks and working hours. We get those rules from property management before we recommend anything, and schedule within them.
Most curtain-wall glass in newer towers is insulated, and much of it has low-e coatings or tints. That makes the film-to-glass check essential. Where an interior film isn’t a safe match, a different film or an exterior-mounted film often is.
A free site assessment tells us which areas need which film, so you only film the glass that is causing the problem.

Glass comes first. Film absorbs part of the sun’s energy, which warms the glass. Most glass handles that easily, but large panes, heat-absorbing tinted glass, insulated units, partly shaded panes and chipped edges can be stressed by the wrong film. We identify each glass type and check it against the film maker’s film-to-glass guidelines before recommending anything. When an interior film isn’t a safe match, an exterior-mounted film or a different film often is.
